We are pleased to introduce ourselves as a Manufacturer and Concept development Engineer along with Consultancy and Designs. The firm, TECHNOCRAFT ENGINEERS is headed by Mr. Ravindra Shembekar, B.E (Mechanical) from VJTI, Mumbai with 31 years of experience in various industries.

We are also specialized in designing Customized Lead Screw applications like Screw Jacks in various models. We make Bevel Screw Jacks, Worm Screw Jacks, motorized Screw Jacks. Combination of Screw jacks. Total Lifting Systems, Special Purpose Machines involving Lead screw mechanisms, Telescopic sliding screw jack applications.

We have designed and manufactured special purpose Gearboxes with Geneva Mechanism also. We have the most advanced software like Solid edge by virtue of which we make three dimensional models, solid modeling, animation and also practice simulation techniques.

We have the most advanced software like Solid edge because of which we can Make three dimensional models, solid modeling, animation and other new techniques We have a qualified team of Engineers, specialized in Designing and Manufacturing of All types of Gear Boxes and Geared Units by using theories that have been approved by the Indian Institute of Technology as well as many industries like Larsen and Toubro Ltd etc. We are able to decide the most economical parameters depending upon the application by their virtue.

We also undertake Finite Element Analysis of all mechanical components in a project. We have a full fledged infrastructure which includes the following:

A highly equipped manufacturing and assembly unit of approx. 2000 sq. ft. in Wagle Industrial Area Thane, situated near Mumbai Port.
It also includes Quality machinery like Kirloskar and Reputed make Lathes, Various measuring and testing equipments/jigs/fixtures.

We have a separate shop where in we have installed LMW Smarturn CNC lathe along with Capstan lathe and a metal cutting band saw machine.

We also cater to export oriented requirements with manufacturing components.

There is also a separate gear hobbing/cutting unit of approx. 350 sq. ft at Wagle Estate, Thane.

 We have world class MIKRON Universal Gear Hobbing Machine best of its kind.

•  Designing and drafting facility including Computers, Printers with AutoCAD compatibility as well as a Three Dimensional Solid Modeling software – Solid Edge.

• We at our end are capable of carrying Finite Element Analysis when handling turn key Project.

Activity:

Generally we receive enquiry by elaborating the application. We at our end study the Application and decide the appropriate solution like

Gearbox / Screw mechanism etc.

We thereafter find out the parameters based on our experience and empirical theories. If required Finite element Analysis is carried out.
Based on the parameters we arrive at we make three dimensional models and check for the viability from manufacturing point of view.

If required the parameters ( like module, no. of teeth of gears, screw pitch etc) are revised considering the manufacturing aspect.

Eventually the Models and assembly drawings are prepared. Specifications like material, Heat treatment are laid down.

Thereafter the actual manufacturing process begins.

Meticulous Inspection is carried out at each stage of manufacturing process.

All components are subjected to various tests before the Assembly begins.

Finally the equipment is assembled, Painted with appropriate Paints.

We also use various finishing procedures like plating, powder coating, Hard Chrome plating where ever required prior to assembly.
